John is a qualified accountant and highly experienced senior finance professional specialising in the cultural sector, particularly cultural venues. He was Finance Director of the Royal Opera House, one of the UK’s largest cultural institutions with a turnover of over £100m, and Senior Finance Adviser to the London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games (LOCOG) responsible for financial management of the Cultural Olympiad and London 2012 Festival, with a £118m budget. John holds a practising certificate from the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
