FEI was commissioned to produce a detailed financial business plan for the first three years of operation of a brand new 1,000 seat concert hall on a prestigious site in central Edinburgh. The Dunard Centre, designed by David Chipperfield Architects and opening in 2026, will be a flagship concert hall with world-class acoustics. It will be home for the Scottish Chamber Orchestra and a key venue for the Edinburgh International Festival.
FEI undertook extensive market research to establish user demand and utilisation for the business plan, which in turn formed the basis of the of the ‘Green Book’ Business Case for this £75m project.
