FEI were appointed by Wiltshire Council to develop an Cultural Strategy for 2024-2034. The aim for the strategy was for it to be distinctive, ambitious and achievable, helping the Council and its partners lever the significant economic, social and cultural benefits that arts, culture and heritage can bring.
We conducted detailed desk research, including a review of the national and regional strategic policy context, an extensive mapping exercise of all the cultural assets in the County and working up case studies of governance models in comparative locations. In addition, a wide consultation took place including one-to-one interviews, public workshops and an on-line survey.
