FEI were commissioned by Cumbrian Local Enterprise Partnership and Cumbria County Council to develop a creative and cultural strategy for Cumbria. The outcome was an ambitious, clear and deliverable vision unique to Cumbria with clear approaches to growing the creative economy. A practical public facing document was produced to contribute to place-making conversations and a framework for delivery across the County.

"The LEP recognised the important role that the creative industries and cultural sector can play in place making and place shaping and as such was committed to developing a Cumbria-wide Creative and Cultural Strategy. FEI led on the consultation process and developed the evidence base, both of which provided an excellent platform for the development of “Cumbria – The Natural Capital of Creativity and Culture."
